Join Ohio University's Alumni Association (OUAA) for Brew Trail Talks: A Conversation With OHIO Deans, a series of in-person events that offer cross-college networking opportunities for Bobcats with similar educational backgrounds or post-graduate industries.
To kick off the series, the first event on December 8, 2023 will focus on healthcare and celebrate OHIO's impact as the leading provider of healthcare professionals across the state. The first event will feature representation from the College of Health Sciences and Professions (CHSP), the Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine (HCOM) and the Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Service.
What to Expect
Brew Trail Talks: A Conversation with OHIO Deans will feature:
- Networking opportunities for Bobcats with similar educational backgrounds or post-graduate industries
- OHIO themed games
- Prizes and giveaways on hand
- Registration is required
Brew Trail Talks: A Conversation With OHIO Deans
Brew Trail Talks is an in-person event series that highlights leadership from academic colleges within Ohio University. The first event will be held on Friday, December 8th from 6-8pm at Combustion Brewery in Pickerington, Ohio. This event will celebrate the Ohio University Health Collaborative, and OHIO’s impact on being the number one educator of health professionals within the state of Ohio. Deans from HCOM, CHSP, and Voinovich will be present to network with alumni and current students. They will also present key information and college priorities in a panel style format. We are inviting student organizations to attend, and table if they have any volunteer opportunities for alumni.

This series is meant to be fun and festive and is intentionally called Brew Trail Talks: A conversation with OHIO Deans, to celebrate the Bobcat Brew Trail, launched in July of 2023, that already has hundreds of Bobcats checking in at alumni-owned breweries. Combustion Brewery is currently the #1 brewery for check-ins. Pickerington is also a great location due to the many Bobcats living in Central Ohio.
